Meet the Team

Anne Clark, PhD

Founder

I have over a decade working in education systems as both a special education teacher and administrator. I love to work with struggling readers and have extensive training in Orton Gillingham programming and working with students with Dyslexia. I am also passionate about finding ways to promote student independence and teach self-determination skills. Executive functioning and self-regulation skills are foundational skills that impact all areas of student’s functioning and I work to embed these skills whenever I work with students.

Founding a company to work with students and families has been a long time dream of mine. Growing up in Northfield and working across the North Shore the past ten years has given me roots in the community and excitement about creating a space for students and families to thrive!

Founder

I’ve been in the education world for over 10 years developing my passion for working with students with special needs and their families. My goal for Three for Thrive is to create a community of support for families who may feel overwhelmed and are looking for experts to help problem solve and work together to find solutions. My most recent experience as a Learning Behavior Specialist allowed me the opportunity to work with a variety of students across different disability areas including specific learning disabilities, developmental delay, emotional disabilities and autism. I’m particularly passionate about helping support students with social emotional and behavioral needs. I love supporting kids to learn regulation and coping strategies to help them succeed in everyday life.

When I’m not in the classroom or at school, I live in Northfield with my husband and two boys, Gavin and Emmett. You can usually find us walking our dog Otis around the neighborhood. As a recent new mom, I feel that I connect to the parent perspective now more than ever and I look forward to helping you support your child.

I am currently a 4th grade ELA teacher, with experience spanning from first to fourth grade. I love building relationships with my students and fostering an environment where their unique talents and personalities can flourish. Although I enjoy all subjects, teaching children to read is where I find the most joy. Each day, I strive to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where every child can discover the magic of reading.

My greatest passion outside of teaching is travel! I love traveling to new places and experiencing different cultures. I was even fortunate enough to do part of my student teaching in New Zealand. When I am in Chicago, I love trying new restaurants with my husband, hanging out with friends and coaching lacrosse at Loyola Academy.

Interventionist

I am a special educator and executive function coach, working with individuals of all ages and varying needs. I am passionate about helping my clients learn how to become more independent using EF and SEL strategies to support task initiation/completion, planning, prioritizing, organization, problem solving, and positive self-talk. Additionally, I love working with my clients' families to problem-solve and find the best solutions to support the client while also supporting everyone else in the household as well.

I recently received my Master's degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and while I was born and raised in Milwaukee, I currently live in Northfield with my husband and two dogs, Bud and Jerry. In my free time I love to cook, bake, needlepoint, hike with my dogs, and spend time with family and friends in Northern Wisconsin! I am so happy to be a part of the Three for Thrive team and look forward to working with our clients to find successes in and outside of the classroom!

I grew up in the area and graduated from Marquette University with a degree in Elementary Education. I have 6 years of experience teaching kindergarten, 1st grade, and 2nd grade. Although I enjoy teaching all subjects, I have a strong passion for teaching reading and writing to students who need extra support. I have experience teaching a variety of literacy and math programs which helps me meet children where they are at and teach to their specific needs and learning style.

When I am not teaching, you can find me out and about in Glenview with my 2 kids and husband. I am so excited to be part of Three for Thrive and help students feel confident and successful!
